Living in the sunshine state is great. all the amusement parks and beaches just cant be beat, however today we are going to take a look at the “Old Florida”.
If you want to see the Florida of Yesteryear get off the popular beaches and interstates, Florida has much to offer. the wild life is exciting to observe from many of the county,state, and national forests.
Rent a cabin in the woods and horseback where the original “Cracker” cowboys roamed.
Visit the numerous crystal clear springs. rent a canoe or just tube with the manatee.

This is the part of Florida that I truly enjoy. meeting the true Southern hospitality of the Florida native, eating some great bbq and if you are lucky eating some of the best cooked gator you will ever eat.
I encourage you to come to Florida, Visit the top destinations, but do yourself a huge favor, see “Old FLORIDA”, you wont regret it. I promise.
