Many times we get caught up in our day to day routines and don’t realize the adventures right in our neighborhood, We wait until it is vacation time and then explore another state or area in which we look up on the internet. I am also guilty of this but have found there are so many adventures right in our area that could be a great weekend adventure with out traveling long distances. I encourage everyone to get on your computer and look for recreational areas in your area. There may be great hiking trails, a park, horseback riding adventure, bike trails, canoeing, zip-lining or authentic restaurant spot within 20 miles of your home. A staycation that will be most memorable! Or just get in the car and drive, you may find a fun flea market or little town full of surprises.
Whatever you find I think you will be pleasantly surprised as to the fun we can have close to home!!
