Welcome to Fall!

Tomorrow is the first official day of fall. Can you believe it? Where did 2017 go?

With fall officially starting tomorrow, you may have cooler weather, pumpkin patches and Halloween fresh on the mind. Traces of brisk weather and a sharp drop in humidity have everyone excited for the coming weeks and have people itching to spend more time outdoors.

If you’re anything like me, you find a sense of peace and wonder at this time of the year. With the leaves changing and the real beauty from the transitions of nature starting to shine through, it’s easy for me to sit outside for what feels like hours just enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful atmosphere.

Since I live in Florida, one thing I have always wanted to experience is the changing of the leaves (or to go to a place where they already have changed). The last few weeks of September and the first week of October is supposedly the best time of the year to watch the fall foliage. And wouldn’t you know that’s in the next week or so!

Thrillist published their Fall 2017 Fall Foliage Map and it may be worth checking out.

If you live in a state where there isn’t much seasonal variety you may want to plan a little weekend trip to enjoy the changing weather. Or, you may be one of the lucky ones who is used to the seasonal changes but wants to know the best time to go on a site-seeing hike.

Have you ever gone to see the leaves change?

Happy Hump Day!
